He got the tire & wheel package when he leased, so all the replacements have been free. They’re run-flats and he’s always been able to get home on them, albeit slower than he’d like.

Read the last sentence & watch the video. There are so many pot holes in some areas, you hit one pothole while avoiding another. In the video, you can see that there are parallel potholes on both sides of the lane. If your car has a wide enough track width, you’re hitting potholes on both sides. Additionally, the…
I though they do this so that the cars driving over the newly-filled hole tamp the cold patch down. Toss some in, car drives over, toss more, car drives over, etc until the hole is filled.
The poutine here in MI is terrible, though.
The potholes around here are getting so far being ridiculous. BoyfriendSlooooooow, a life-long Michigander and someone who’s taken then same route to work for almost 5 years, has blown through 10 sidewalls on his ATS. The 4 original tires, 4 replacements, and 2 replacements of the replacements. Though these tires are…
Because that’s how vehicle platforms work.
There’s a point where renting a truck every time you need one is more expensive that just owning/leasing a truck.
I take my Colorado off-road several times a year & use it for “truck stuff” on-road all the time (ie: actually use the bed to haul things that don’t fit in sedan/CUV/SUV trunks—but it’s not a work truck, these are just for yard work & hobbies).
Hass isn’t a brand, it’s a variety/cultivar (think granny smith, etc in the apple world).
The pit is mostly just a choking hazard, though it does also produce persin so if Fido chomps down it’s bad news there, too.
Exactly.
My boyfriend’s house is staggered between the two houses across the street. One of them street parks truck on their side of the street on weekends so he’s got room to get the yard tools in and out of the garage, which is cool. What’s not cool is that because he’s doing yard work, he parks the truck 2-3 feet away from…
Or trucks with manual tailgate locks but automatic door locks. Some folks forget to lock their tailgate when they close it because they’re not used to having to manually lock things on their vehicle.
Well yes, but it doesn’t appear to me that Honda made much of a styling effort to distinguish the two from each other. It looks very much like they just tacked a bed on the Ridgeline instead of some seats and a roof.
Ah, I understand.
My 6'5" boyfriend loves my Colorado. He fits rather well and doesn’t feel cramped. So if you want to venture back to mid-size-truck-land, I recommend giving the little ‘Rado a try.
As an auto engineer, I’d like to have auto repair separated from engineering. Don’t get me wrong, engineering jargon is terrible—I work for GM (obligatory “I work for GM, but my views are my own and don’t necessarily reflect the stance of the company) we have so many acronyms even the company name is a damn…
The post mentions that the owner had just completed a road-side assistance call near the Taco Bell and that he brings the cats with him on these calls. He was already there and the cat was already out and about.
