As someone who doesn’t wear more than concealer and powder on a daily basis, this is bank-breaking. I don’t want to pay for new eyeliner, mascara, and lip stick every time I go to a special event (2-3 times/year) only to need to throw it out the next time an occasion to wear it rolls around.

There definitely are those people out there! But if I were a betting woman, I would not put my money on finding one of those spotless minivans in the used car lot of my local dealership.

2 toddlers, 1 sippy cup?

OH GOD NO

I know it’s not the case, but I feel like most people should realize that a second-hand minivan is THE WORST idea there is.

Nah, they just leave them adjusted for parking.

So like the Civic I had before my truck? Or Boyfriend’s ATS? Or any of the development vehicles I drive for work and have to back-in park?

I get where you’re coming from.

Same problem with my boyfriend’s husky. We know to let him chill out before saying hi bu when friends come over, they rile him up (because it’s fun for them) and then get mad at Boyfriend and I when they end up with muddy paw prints on their pants. We tell him to ignore Husky at first, but they never do.

If you know how to parallel park, you really shouldn’t need to see the curb.

If your car has a white interior, then my climbing (not really a)hack will work great for you! Chalk.

My thought exactly...just like airplane wings. They’re supposed to flex.

I dunno, I back my truck into every parking spot I can (read: every parking spot in a lot that allows back-in parking) and I have no need to adjust my mirrors. If you just turn your head around, it’s no problem.

I don’t know that I agree with you. I think that the state of young men and women in a city that hosts 3 of the biggest automakers in the world (and a number of their plants) is worthy of mention on Jalopnik. This is what’s happening to the men and women who build millions of the cars and trucks on the road today.

The below tactic might be useful to know about, depending on your relationship to your co-habitant.

Yep. All the other corrections got the point across the first few times. I do like broken records, though.

Yes, I realized I got it backwards the other 3 times someone corrected me.

Yes, thank you. I understood that the first 3 times someone corrected me.

Ah, thanks.

Only in Europe where it’s not the law. In the US you can’t sell a car without red belt releases.
