Not that cool honestly. It looks very much like they wanted to create one of those big tracking sequences from the Avengers movies. It looks less like war and more like a silly Power Rangers commercial.

Ha Ha! That dude would rock the hell out of every party. Such majesty, such moves.... And great use of blinking lights. :)

I’m sure they are pretty much unplayable now, but back then the Turok games were incredibly immersive. Despite the ever present fog, the jungle drums, those vivid animations and all the creeping and crawling beasts turned it into a very visceral, intense experience. It really felt like an organic, primal world of kill

Yeah, hasn’t this been obvious since day one?

I really like that there are a few oil paintings in there. Makes the art feels so much better and more tangible... Despite all the skill and effort, digital painting has an air of being disposable and vapid, which is unfair, but still....

Maybe DOA: Extreme VolleyBall fans are not the coolest crowd in gaming...

It’s a nice enough Chun Li, but she aint got them trademark monster thighs that are made for kicking! Miss Li is a body type, just not a blue outfit. :)

Overall it’s not a strong period in Japanese film right now.... Compared to the Koreans who seem to deliver one triumph after another at the annual film festivals.

“Those “boring segments” you write about when Conan is riding through huge landscapes, accompanied by Basil Poledouris majestic score” , is what I meant to say. Dang it. Get an edit button already!

Well, with the Conan movies people tend to fall into two camps, the people who love the high camp and goofiness of Destroyer and the people who loves the sincerity and verisimilitude of the original. I will say however, the fans of Destroyer does not adore their film the way “Conan The Barbarian” is something truly

Spellcheck Luke, spellcheck.

Always thought Vega was cool and I dig his narcissistic personality crossed with violent, psychopathic sadism. He’s a fun character, especially going up against Chun-Li, like in the animated movie.

I know it would never happen, but I would love a FF12 where the original story as intended was re-instated, with Basch as the natural main character and Vaan jettisoned, as he was imposed on the story by the Square corporate higher-ups, worried that teens wouldn’t buy a game starring an older, more grizzled character.

Remember when Anime was really high-budget and spectacular entertainment.... And the coolest venue for next level sci-fi and action?

Your loss.

You know what to do Arc systems!!!! (FYI They just bought the Double Dragon license.)

This video doesn’t really fulfill it’s potential since the movement is so choppy and the camera not right..... But! As we all know the 3D Sonic games has never quite worked.

You seem like a great guy.

Sad and shocking news. Iwata was a very charming public persona for Nintendo. The “Iwata asks” sessions were great and all the various videos and Nintendo direct footage over the years point to a man of great humor.

You suck.
