My dad uses this joke all the time and I’m pretty sure he’s never seen that show.

I’d imagine that the punches being thrown aren’t super hard since they’re wearing skates and punching power mostly comes from leg drive.

I don’t get it. Was someone doing that straw-man-y thing you said? And I haven’t rewatched that show for years

I mean, welcome to the news cycle. “Everything’s fine in the community” doesn’t push clicks. They managed to fit “fucking faggot,” racist, and sexist into the headline. This was destined for cross posting and a good push for traction on the Compete hub. The pattern you’re recognizing in the media you consume might

the fact that no one else has starred this is a sin

Only one possible soup choice in that case...

I still get Eric Crouch and Barty Crouch mixed up all the time.....

I get the issue but being a Heisman Trophy winner does not make you a bonafide NFL QB. There are a lot of Heisman Trophy winners that were terrible. Jason White, Danny Wuerfful, Tim Tebow, Chris Weinke, Matt Leinart, Troy Smith, etc.

Yeah, who can forget 1st rd Hall of Famer, Eric Crouch.

Wait, what? Not a single snap? Oh.

Those stories don’t fit the Deadspin narrative though.

If a Cleveland defender would have shown the least amount of fucks and stood in front of McConnell or Saric, I’m sure either would have pulled up and ran out the clock. But fuck it. If the Cavs don’t care, why should Saric?

Slightly better than the baseball one, where you’re supposed to stop trying while the other team is still trying.

So is the unwritten rule that when you stop trying, the other team should stop trying?

It turns into an awkward starving frenzy after Whitlock arrives.

Yeah, but in Bob’s Burgers, the characters’ side profiles always bothered me. The way the mouth just rolls into the neck, with a single line to indicate a chin.

That Kinja cash injection is yielding results.

I don’t understand the use of the word “pure” in the story. How is Marge’s straight-on face more “pure” than Bart’s?

Well, not that easy to hide.

you can see Nash’s delicate, savvy save in all its glory.
