I never meant to take away Curry’s MVP seasons. It was a concession that Paul never reached that high point. Curry’s high water mark, if you will, in 2015 and 2016 is greater than anything Paul has done. Paul’s consistency is notable, though, and just as impressive. He is already one of the best Point Guards in the

Over the last five years, Curry has had the advantage with his two incredibly crazy seasons. Paul wasn’t far behind him in plenty of advanced stats. Their WS/48 are within .002 over that stretch. In fact, over the last two years, Paul has the better WS/48. Of course, the previous four years of Curry’s career can’t

That’s a totally fair argument. Maybe he’s the Barry Bonds of basketball. Unquestionably one of the greats, but a douchebag.

When I think of “X player is better than Y”, I don’t necessarily think “Well, is X more efficient than Y?”. Efficiency certainly plays a role, no doubt. What PER measures, in a nutshell, is how much a player is doing with the chances he’s given. The difficulty of the chances are not really part of it, and it is

Oh, he’s definitely a better player than Curry, PER or not. I would say, outside of two seasons, Paul has been the better player between the two each year they’ve both been in the league. Magic is an argument, for sure, and I’d be fine with someone taking Magic because of all the playoff success that Paul clearly

Except defense is a pretty important part of basketball. Anyways, there is no one in their right mind who would take Chris Paul instead of Magic or Isaiah, plus Stockton and Jason Kidd would be difficult to pick against.

First of all, Kanter has put up a few really good PER seasons, this season isn’t exactly a fluke, even if it’s been really good. He’s just an awful defender (which PER does not account for), so playing him against certain teams can be costly.

Chris Paul isn’t even a top three point guard in the league, right now, let alone all time.

Sure, if 100 million people saw the movie, then 1% (if it’s even that much) is a million people. But we spend so much time talking about this small percent of people, who aren’t in any way representative of the group as a whole, that we empower them, as well as smear any attempt to have a thoughtful discussion over

Majority was the wrong word to ascribe to your argument, and I apologize for that. What is “a lot”? That’s a rather vague term, but it implies a significant portion of a community. You’re (and not just you, the entire premise of the original article was too) taking a “bunch of YouTube videos” to represent an entire

I feel like LBJ was the kind of nut job that would welcome that sort of pain. Except, we do have evidence that he is concerned about pressure applied to his privates:

Yeah, but it’s not nearly as interesting as the rational but mundane complaints about the movie. Better to find some idiot making a weird cut on a torrent site, and make it sound like a huge deal.

I mean, there’s a bunch of videos on YouTube about the Earth being flat or reptilian aliens running our government, but just because a few assholes stand out, doesn’t mean they represent that majority, or even close to it.

I think the Patriots are better than the Eagles, with or without Wentz. And I would have said the Vikings-Eagles game would have been a tossup if Wentz was healthy, with a slight advantage maybe to the Eagles because of Home field. Now it’s a clear, but not overwhelming, Vikings advantage.

We’re only one play in each of three games away from having a “final four” of Brady, Roethlisberger, Brees and Ryan. Last year, the “final four” were Brady, Roethlisberger, Ryan and Rodgers. I’ll chalk this up to a fluke year. An exciting one, for sure. But still a fluke.

I love learning about LBJ, but his legacy is certainly mixed. His passing of the Civil Rights Act deserves a great deal of praise, as he was able to succeed where Kennedy failed, but his social programs ranged from fantastic to ineffective. His war mongering in Vietnam, though, makes it hard to easily call him a “good

Forget pooping, this guy would show you his dick in the bathroom or drive his floating car into the lake as power moves. Check what kinda shower he (allegedly) wanted installed in White House. Best part of it was his explanation to the plumber: “If I can move 10,000 troops in a day, you can certainly fix the bathroom

I wish Francesa had ended up on someone else’s podcast for his weekly spot. I really don’t want to give Bill my listen after the shit he posted.

Not quite as fun as Black Flag in terms of gameplay and graphics, but the story is interesting enough to make up for it.

I did not! I stayed mostly in Southern Canada, and it was the summer. Lake Superior Provincial Park was the one in Western Ontario that particularly stood out. I did make it to Banff, and that was incredible, probably number two on my sights list. That sounds fascinating though, another thing I’d have to try.
