I actually like Agents of Shield both because of and in spite of it. I'm used to it. But I teased through an episode or two of this and then had to fight myself to stop watching it. The thing you said it wasn't great at (the teasing bits of what'll happen next) I was dialed into enough to take as cliffhangers, or more

Nothing against the newer/younger people or the show itself, but it ceased to matter to me after my group completed their journey. It was, relatively lightning in a bottle, getting lucky with all variables, not some winning formula to be exploited.

As far as I'm concerned there's never been a better show at slowly advancing itself while spinning the hell out of its wheels. It was SO strongly formula but it didn't matter because it got better at what it was doing and the act of it being executed was so engaging to watch. The plots almost didn't even matter to me.

Haha awesome, thanks…

I thought about that. I mean, it kind of has to be that way. But specifics would be interesting. Did he not have one before? Did he have one, get dumped, curse off heroing, then decide that he was too inept and lazy to get even normal life accomplished, so he hired an assistant? Sid sounded like he was pretty excited

That's what I'm thinking. I even like it and the notion of a full order of 20-odd episodes seems, well, a bit like possible taste fatigue, or at least spreading resources thin. I love the music and songs but if they cut it down to fewer per episode, and more dialogue, so that Alan Menken doesn't run into hiding or

Was it any good? I saw a clip on YouTube and I'm no closer to knowing whether it's worth getting. Production values seem decent, though!

Hooray, someone else saw and/or remembered Better off Ted. Do you think they made similar impressions, though? Do you think there are "protections" in place for one having, maybe, a higher profile than the other, or at least more visibility? I only just saw BoT on Netflix so I don't know what the climate was like at

I was surprised that Madalena the Galavant-banger didn't know who Galavant's squire was. Or did he just pick him up after she ditched him?

In the interest of full and thorough perspective, the last pair of episodes competed against the AFC Championship -and- the Golden Globes and went down just 30%. Unless there's no overlap at all across those general demos, it might be safe.
