“Pick up the phone... Psych!”

At least his was broken.

I don’t like the notion of Lightsabers as Mood Rings, that the notion is just kinda depressing to think about when you reach the practical elements of it. I just like that a Force User finds one that speaks to them, maybe on a literal in-the-force level, maybe on a just symbolic level, but that it should be flexible,

“let me just point this broken lightsaber right at my face”

You guys. These were so, so bad. They were bad when I was 10. In the 90s. They are cyberpunk novels written by William Shatner. What part of that sentence screams, “Greenlight!”?

Boomers got two doses of nostalgia. Don’t forget the 50's nostalgia fad of the 80's.

I was alive in the 90s, but don’t remember any of this at all.

... oh.

It’s one of those shows that’s always at the back of my head for some reason. I didn’t even really enjoy it all that much but I just remember watching it so well. IIRC, it was shown in my area back-to-back with Kung Fu: The Legend Continues. The big thing I remember about Kung Fu was the anti-porn episode, which even

Man, Time Trax, now that’s a show I haven’t thought of in a long time...

Now playing

I never read the books but did watch the show. It came off as one of those hokey daytime sci fi shows like Time Trax.

Animation? But that’s for children!

The kids have to learn about TekWar sooner or later.

I read a couple Tekwar novels when I was 12 and way too into Star Trek to do anything but think about or watch Star Trek. I don't remember anything at all about them.

Whoof...goddamn, that looks abysmal.

Cartoon about a Japanese monkey fighting Japanese organized crime in Tokyo, Japan — but shoehorn in the ghost of a white American guy voiced by posterchild white American guy Jason Sudeikis — seems soooorta racist.

I got through two episodes of MODOK - so so terrible, IMHO.

Well, if the Nike guy likes it, maybe he'll want to see the sequels?

If the movie is a success, there may be more Wildwood on the way.
