It would take

@iamjames: The difference is that they scale the amount of work that the GPU has to do based on it's performance/capabilities. This is showing that having a beefier GPU can give benefits that some users may want.

@iamjames: Some of those features do matter (to some people at least). The processor speed and ram will affect the responsiveness of the phone and if you are comparing two phones running the same OS (say android) then it will give you an indication of the responsiveness of the interface.

@superjenni: The article does specifically say Parchment not wax paper.

Just as some background on what the deal is with monitor calibration. Most people kind of get the wrong end of the stick. The sort of calibration that is going on with this tool is getting the display so that you can see the full range that your monitor can display, it isn't really calibration, it is better described

Never really realised that was what a grilled cheese sandwhich was (we don't tend to have them like that here in the UK), normally they are open topped done under a grill.

I have never understood why in the US they use that cut for their bacon.

On point 8. Before using the Heimlich maneuver, you should make 3 attempts at clearing the blockage by hitting on the back. Each attempt should be a single slap with sufficient time in between to see if it has helped. Each slap should be a little harder than the last.

Good advice.

Actually just realised it is for video.

Because .exe's are so much more portable and platform independant than a jpg!?

Operating systems do more than just draw pretty windows on the screen. The OS provides all the stuff that goes on in the background that most users never even know about.

A shame we can't actually scrobble, but hopfully that will come in september. In the meantime you can use this to listen to radio and iScrobbler to scrobble the tracks when you sync with iTunes.
