And he does do the voices for Jimmy Jr. and Ms. La Bonz, which are more distinct from Bob/Archer.

Hell yeah. This show (and Nida Manzoor’s work in general, ie Polite Society) is such a breath of fresh air. Hoping more people discover it now that Peacock is gaining a biiit of traction in the streaming market. Intriguing how cleaned up they are in the header photo!

Yes! I was about to post the same thing this morning but then got busy. Glad I’m not the only who felt this way.

Can’t fire someone who’s never been hired (long-term)! I’m assuming he’s freelance but hope to see more from him on here.

Agreed. I didn’t hate all the breaking in this episode’s sketches but I was still like, damn Ryan, keep it together!

Between this week’s Beavis and Butthead and last week’s sketch where she awkwardly flailed through the wall with a giant globe on her head, they’ve really been getting Heidi Gardner.

I thought it was a sequel at first to the midwife sketch where Bowen played another long-haired weirdo medical professional, which I also enjoyed. It was funny how Ryan Gosling was forcing Bowen to eat all those cookie crumbles while refusing to take a bite himself, I wonder if that was intentional or not.

They weren’t saying Caitlin Clark herself should have made an appearance last week, they were saying Sarah Sherman as Caitlin Clark should have appeared in last week’s March Madness sketch.

Yeah, I’ve never read Proust, but I know the basic reference of a madeleine triggering childhood memories from other literature and media. I’m curious if what was in the Barbie movie was just that (probably at least had to give the “greatest hit”) or if it went deeper.

I am one of those people who will want to watch something and then spend a while scrolling through my to-watch lists, so this is kinda nice.

Yeah, maybe it’s the circles I run in, but I read that part as a comment on colonial/imperialist powers sticking together and US war profiteering. It is poor phrasing though and she should have spelled out what she meant instead of saying, “I’ll let you figure that out.”

Seriously. I don’t care to wade into debating the merits of the 2016 movie and other sequels, just saw the photo and wanted to comment he looks insanely good for his age.

100%. It excelled in the comedy part but fell flat in the romantic part. You don’t care to root for the central couple at all because Harper comes off as such an asshole, which is why everyone wants Kristen Stewart and Aubrey Plaza to run off together.

Thought she was great in Shiva Baby, then her scene-stealing performance in Bodies Bodies Bodies made me a fan, and then Bottoms really cemented it, so I’m definitely showing up for this. Hopefully they can get Ayo for an episode too.

Agreed. The power imbalance there between them and the top-billed star is even greater, so screaming at them in front of everyone is punching down even more.

I’m not familiar with the movie, but seems like she played a supporting role and was not just some extra since she mentions having her own trailer and is listed in the cast for it.

I wonder if the OP thought JVN wants people to use all three pronouns to refer to them/him/her lol.

She’s been in a surprising amount of mediocre Netflix stuff in the last several years. I wonder if she’s got some kind of deal with them or is just a reliable go-to. In either case, good for her for getting what I hope is easy money (and picking stuff that’s not so bad it sticks with her) while still fitting in better

Loved Los Espookys and his HBO special was fun, so I impatiently await this movie’s expansion beyond NY/LA.

+1 I’m also interested in this for Geraldine Viswanathan, and looks entertaining enough from the trailer.
