I suppose it should have been obvious, but somehow I didn’t realize from the previous articles about this movie that it was going to be a comedy. But it looks like stupid fun.
I didn’t think Elizabeth Warren was that old!
This is Nic’s way of getting back on the Vampire Council. They kicked him off in 1988, when it turned out he only thought he was a vampire.
“wouldn’t be worth commenting on if violence against Indigenous women wasn’t a continuing problem.”
Great - this is all a bunch of thirdhand after the fact rationalizing by activists who weren’t there.
Will and Kate aren’t to blame for Harry’s choice. Even if it played out like he said it did, he is the one who picked the costumes and decided to go through with wearing the Nazi one. That’s on him. Will and Kate are shitty for thinking it was a funny and good costume, but at the end of the day Harry made the final…
Her father should have held out for a complete set of cookware.
Prince Harry seems a bit gullible if he took someone’s advice and wore a Nazi uniform. And whoever let him walk out the door in it are Machiavellian assholes who probably pissed themselves laughing at him.
If she took an under the table payout, or got scared by the Amber Heard verdict, I really can’t blame her. The courts have made it clear that Justice is for old men with money.
This is a weird hill to die on, for both parties. Why not let the showrunner of your brand new hit get away with a nepotism hire? Why throw away a career-defining gig for your wife’s fledgling attempts at moving into production? I’m guessing either she’s REALLY toxic, or the relationship between Sapochnik and HBO was…
Yeah, this is a weird take. Other than the starting child actors or maybe children of the cast/crew, how many kids will there even be at the premiere for any film?
Battle not with candyasses, lest ye become a candyass, and if you gaze into the bald, the bald gazes also into you.
It kind of strange when we finally realize that Vin Diesel is the least “candyass” of this two bald guy.
“Wife guy” as it originally emerged, referred to husbands who were so performatively and over-the-top supportive of their wives that it called their true motives into question. The ur-example is the “I love my curvy wife!” guy,* who went viral because he was so gosh darn proud of himself for being attracted to a woman…
I get OP’s confusion. The article they link to from the first words of this article says that ‘wife guys’ are men who got famous for things their wives did (which tracks with the Wiki definition: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wife_guy) and then provides a bunch of examples that make them all seem like sexist leeches.…
I have never heard of “wife guy” prior to this article. I think it must be something that the youths of today say and the AVClub felt the need to work it into a story, in an attempt to be relevant.

Santos is the obvious candidate for Republican Speaker. Who would deny the brave American Civil War veteran who led the US to triumph at Gettysburg?
Well, now people can bully her with a clear conscience. Jesus Christ.
