Which is a terrible goal for any school to have. Yes, students should be prepared to enter the workforce, however this should be achieved through ensuring critical reasoning skills and creativity. The ability to land a job should be a benefit of a strong education but not its primary goal.

I think it takes an extraordinary amount of talent. Being able to mix the paints in a certain way and apply them to accurately convey what they are trying to paint. You can't just give anyone some paints and tell them to make something like this. You have to be very skilled.

You can pretty much describe anything in words, so does that mean that nothing is art? I prefer Scott McCloud's definition of art, which basically states that art is any creative output that does not stem from our basic human desires (such as eating and fucking).
