I think people just love to hate. It seems far easier for many on here to just be perpetually in a state of anger and hate about EVERYTHING. I also think that Ford probably shouldn’t have actually announced that intent and just did it quietly like Nissan did in Europe for example. They quietly did it and now look at

Go ahead, let’s see some mint, low mile examples for $4k. I won’t hold my breath.....Now if decent or usable are your requirements, that’s a different game.  This one is solidly in the collector/show car market.

At 203 inches this is EXACTLY the size of an Escalade, Tahoe, or Yukon, and dwarfed by an Escalade ESV, Suburban, or Yukon XL at 224/225 inches.

While I agree the X7 is huge, a Tahoe is an 1" longer, 2" wider, and 3" taller, let’s not pretend that this is the biggest of these oversized land barges (oh, and a regular length Lincoln Navigator is 211")

At 203 inches long, this neatly splits the difference between the Explorer at 198 inches and the Navigator SWB at 210 inches. Huge no doubt, but the BOF domestics are larger still (for better or for worst).

Craftsman Tools have moved to made-in-China garbage a while ago. You’re better off either spending 3x as much for Snap-On or just getting cheap Harbor Freight crap and replacing as needed.

A lot of F-35 criticism has sounded like someone walking up to the frame of a house under construction and being appalled at how bad a house it is at that very moment. News flash: jet fighters take a while and are expensive.

It’s pretty awesome, especially since the competitive spirit is there and sometimes gets the better of even those driving ultra-rare cars, like the Shelby Daytona Coupe that got in an accident a few years ago (and was back this year, I believe). Stirling Moss got banned for a while after driving too aggressively in

Well this wins ignorant comment of the day.

What the hell did they think would happen? Mustangs love hay.

continuous improvement is not unique to tesla though. i work in auto industry and i can tell you all major automakers change parts throughout the life of the vehicle. design engineers usually design and release parts so that new parts are backwards compatible. Also if you know the part number, all parts have some sort

Of all motorsports, this is near the dumbest. It’s worse than...

Oh yeah, this is going on he trails.

For six figures (presumably) I’d want my custom car to have a more unique drivetrain

I recognize this may get buried here, as it goes against the prevailing point of view, but I want to provide a counterpoint.

Is it Youtube’s fault that they spend too much money to get the views they want? Youtube isn’t meant to support high-budget shows that get a million views (which is a lot, but not gigantic compared to other YouTube creators). They chose the wrong platform. Don’t blame the platform for their mistake.

You’re watching the wrong stuff, man

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

They weren’t always meh
