Saw the car in your lead picture at Laguna Seca for the Monterey Historics in 2016.

An effective explanation of the costs of ownership. Even when hibernating, these consume money like the Sun consumes hydrogen.

I only clicked this because of the Bertone Carabo in the lead picture. I saw a picture of that car in a book in the 70's as a little kid and it still haunts my soul.

I currently have three Fox Capris. My first car in 1986 was a 1984 Capri 5.0 5 speed.

Like so many other efforts to increase “diversity”, it’s very narrow. There aren’t more women drivers because women just aren’t as numerous in motorsports in general. Asking why aren’t there more women drivers skips right over crew chiefs, engine builders, cylinder head porters, women with laptops tuning engines on

“Not sure how that subtle slam at the Fox-body will play out for you”

One was parked on the street in Monterey on the Friday before Pebble Beach show.

I have three bubble back Capris and one SVO. The Capris get attention everywhere I drive them these days.

Some pics I took from a sidewalk table @ Alvarado St Brewery Friday and in the parking garage across from the Portola on Sat evening.

I machined one from a solid block of 6061-T651 for a guy that anodized my regular production p.

I saw this sell at Russo Steele in Monterey in August this year.

In the US, it was IMSA GTP racing. Similar cars, similar zany designs, crazy speeds. For those obsessed with Nurburgring times, a 956 is still the record holder. These cars were staggeringly faster than F1. Same (or more) power, huge downforce but much lower drag penalties for the aero package.

Some pics of M1s from last month’s Historics at Laguna Seca. Love these cars.
