That’s a really expensive plane to operate when you still need another fighter/drone or people on the ground to find a target for it. I highly doubt they would be allowed to find their own targets using only a sniper pod with these rules of engagement, or under any CAS environment for that matter.
Better bring a few MREs for the ride.....
It’s the vehicle they already actually use. Also gotta say, the replacements don’t look like much of an improvement. I’m betting this will be spend some cash, determine they’re garbage and keep the existing AAV7.
