if Cat was such a polarizing figure as Murdoch I'd see that yeah. But so far CatCo media's reporting has been accepted and regarded well by the general public. But ok it could just be a plothole as you surmise.

who?
But no in this Supergirl canon it seems CatCo is more than a gossip column/paper and I mean she has an established media company who is generally well respected by the National City citizens it appears.
And if they had released the whole video of Supergirl beating the Kh'unud and just letting him go nonchalantly I…
oh man that would break me. absolutely.
I mean I understand people not liking something, but… actually watch the thing and decide that for yourself you know? Instead of just joining some bandwagon of hating on something.
I agree about the smartphone thing but.. when you hear CatCo president saying Supergirl threw her down the building and is unstable and unreliable, I mean.. you gotta kinda believe that? Maybe we didn't see other parts, maybe Cat ended up showing her letting the K'hunud go.
The amount of hate this show gets on some other forums is unfathomable. Usually by people who have never watched a single episode, because they decided the entire show would be that pilot trailer they showed.
makes me sad for this show.
This Winn is so good now. I genuinely laughed out loud over the 'She killed Ms. Grant?!' outburst.
And Melissa Benoist can do no wrong in my book anymore. She was perfect as the ice queen, but her breakdown hurt my heart.
Doesn't DC Movies have Booster on lockdown?
But I like the alternatives your positing.
i think we have to keep Rip for the time travel aspect of it yeah?
I love whenever Sara gets paired off with Stein (or Snart)
even Rip's been less annoying lately. IDK I think this show is finding it's groove with the cast it has. Which sucks because the cast rotation will change in s2 (if there's a s2) so all that time establishing a cast/group dynamic will be rebooted.
AoS needs all the characters it can have to keep things interesting tbh. Spinning off Bobbi and Hunter makes 0 sense to me.
I… really want a third season of this other than Marvel's Most Wanted or whatever.
Howard Stark was way much fun.
And if it had to be some guy who's not Steve, I guess I'm glad it was Sousa.
I can sort of understand Alex's initial trepidation concerning killing off Kara's aunt (she knows how Kara felt about Astra) and I guess when Kara saw how torn up and scared and guilty Alex felt (and she learned Astra was about to off Hank for good) how could Kara not forgive her?
DCTVU shows make me tear up more often than I'd like to admit to..
(well more Flash and Supergirl if we're being honest I guess)
I think now that he's not pining after Kara in a pseudo creepy way, he's instantly more likable.
.. am I the only one who had a lot of dust in their eyes causing it to water a lot during that Alex and Kara scene at the DEO, and how Kara hugs her sister but also holds onto Hank's hand as he tries to leave..
.. just me then..?
That seems to be the case so far I guess. We'll see soon enough I hope.
Because they only ever mention Superman as being the only superhero to exist prior to Kara. I think if there was a man out there saving lives and fighting baddies while displaying superpowers like lightning speed, he'd be making news, especially in a world where Cat Grant exists.
yep… that was an interesting twist.
well pseudo mentor father figure as it were heh
I think it's just more of a 'HOLY CRAP THIS GUY JUST TOOK DOWN THIS BAD GUY WHO HAS HAD ME HANGING OUT AT HIS HOUSE FOR NO REASON'
