I took him picking Anika over Cookie to be because he didn't want to disclose to Cookie that he had ALS. He knew Anika has knowledge about it, would be able to discuss the matter with the hospital staff.
And picking Cookie to give the speech made sense because he witnessed how Cookie told their kids off for squabbling…

I actually am glad they referred to Ichabod and Abbie's frayed relationship. Katrina being thrown into the path as an obstacle to Team Witness needs to be addressed if they need to get over that hump. IDK how you thought the Isabella and Gal song was a dud. It was sweet enough and Sasse and David have good harmonies. If anything the monk song felt like a dud to me.

This show is so damn charming if you accept it will have insane pacing and no proper logical structure. Thoroughly entertained and amused.

she's not particularly plus sized, but she's rocking an hour glass figure for the most part. I wouldn't say the average woman,now, is her size/measurements either. She is ideally what a woman in the 40's would be, size wise.
