I've got nothing to really add other than Jenna's Clara is hands down the prettiest companion he has ever had. At least in NuWho. Is Jenna capable of looking ugly ever? It's really distracting how pretty she is.

Poor Gallinger just can't catch a break. The getting replaced by Edwards is fine, his racist ass needed to be taken down a peg or two.., but the dead children and the insane wife. Yeeeesh.

Sara… again I don't see why she couldn't have just been kept offscreen and alive for good. Captain Lance could have died, and Laurel would have lost it at that too.

I do think Ra's is behind this, maybe in a "she's too much of a distraction for Nyssa" sort of way. We know it was the Kimodo who killed Sara, it looks like. But what other way was Sara gonna get killed? In action? Nah. That would be the decent thing to do, can't have that.

ok why not have Diggle die? Father of a new born baby, friend to Oliver Queen/Arrow, killed. How's that for upping the potency of danger and sadness?

Sara could have been gone and stayed away for good, because the League. Quentin could have died and it would still have devastated Laurel enough to become Canary. Bringing Sara back just to kill her just… doesn't rest well with me, personally.

Olicity being over for now was more than expected, so didn't annoy me. Sara dying does annoy me. Not because I think she's a better Canary, than Laurel. But because I think she could have lived, and Laurel could still have been Canary. But here we are, one female character short. Again.

I wouldn't say so. Although the long held dream is she will assume the mantle of Oracle.

I think a lot of people are kind of done with the show fridging female characters so often, to further Oliver's manpain. Shado, Moira, and even though Sara's death will affect Laurel more, it'll surely also have an effect on Oliver. Doesn't help they killed the only queer character the show had. A lot of people were…

other ways to inspire character hatred.. like. yeah he shoots Sara, leaves her for dead on the roof.. but Sara lives. The attempt on her life should be enough to enrage people.

but couldn't we the viewers just as easily accept, that Sara giving her the jacket, was the proverbial passing of the torch, her willingly giving up the mantle and all that came with it - to Laurel? If the alternative is what has come to pass, I'm so not happy.
