Unfortunately HBO Go is the only place you can watch it legally. Sometime later Itunes might have the episodes for buying

I take that as a great compliment kthx.
you might be thinking of a later scene where something else prompts him to try and run off, not the Red Wedding info dump.
could be since he's seen this episode 3 times in the past month
*martells. They are *from* Dorne.
Because I don't think Lagertha would raise her son to be a 'take by force' individual, when it comes to women. Sure he's into her, but I don't think he had any ulterior motives when he brought her into his home. She had already let him know she had a man in her life, and if he's taking the time to inquire about that…
Travis does, but so does Katherine and George. They seem to be the fan favorites. Oh Gustaf too!
nah Floki's always hated on Athelstan. I guess at first he didn't show it AS much, because Athelstan was brought back as a slave and thought to be insignifcant. But when Athelstan rose above his slave status, became close to Ragnar and said he now subscribed to the Viking religion, that may have triggered more hostile…
I don't think they'll keep Ragnar around for too much longer. Bjorn's older now, and I can sense a time skip with Ubbe and Hvitserk. But then Ragnar wasn't really confirmed to be real, just a hero of mythic proportions. But yeah it'll be interesting to see what they do with Lagertha and even Athelstan.
was she a slave or a servant? Although i'm not sure there's a distinction there in the show now that I think about it.
yeah I have to say they shouldn't promise something like that in light of you know.. The Red Wedding.
I know. This show is pretty darn good. I mean it doesn't have nearly the amount of nudity or sex GoT gets away with and still tells a damn good story with excellent characters, and it's on the History channel to boot. I'm a huuuuge GoT fangirl, but this show also proves you CAN have a show set in historic/semi-mythic…
Are you a scholar on vikings? :) You always seem to be so in the know
I think it'll be a lot like Lagertha and Ragnar in dynamics. Isn't it said sons look for their mothers, and daughters their fathers in life long matches? Apparently Porrun is some sort of Lagertha fangirl (but then the whole village is, at this point)
maybe more like 'do you have a man?' or 'are you spoken for?' which would seem to be more in the speech patterns and vocabulary as opposed to 'boyfriend'
I don't think he did. He seems like the kind of guy who doesn't want to force her to sleep with him and treat their relationship as that of a master and servant.
Yeah uh, wtf was up with Bjorn using the word boyfriend? That was a jarring snap back to reality. I could forgo the "don't take anymore shit" line, but this was too anachronistic.
pretty sure they'll make Lagertha their leader. The woman just took an army against her husband's wishes, kicked some enemy butt, and came home and then stabbed her misogynist husband in the eye. That speaks authority figure to me. There were some female leaders back then, chieftains I mean.
I got the feeling he wanted to ensure Porrun would come to no harm, much more than wanting to sleep with her. He seemed genuinely surprised when she took her clothes off. But the boy has a crush that's for sure.
Can't wait for the next gen :)
But yeah I'll def miss Ragnar and Lagertha :(
