It’s still around 3k above MSRP compared to the American price after conversion...

I had the same thought/reaction/ragefit. In that order. The good old “North of the 49th” tax...

Ugh... 3k CAD markup vs. USDM MSRP. Gross.

Kinja’d - sorry for the double reply...

Ford still owns the Bronco name. GM might still own the trademark for Nomad in the automotive domain, which woud be problematic.

They haven’t used it, but might, and probably still own the trademark. Kinda like Ford with the Bronco.

In Ontario - not sure which part of the Frozen North you’re from - the only inspections mandated are safeties when a vehicle is sold and an emissions test when the vehicle is more than 7 years old.

Yes. Because I live in Canada.

I was debating back and forth. I found this over on TTAC and best as I can tell, the shock is separate from the spring. No idea if the suspension design on the sedan was the same.

Blown shock ftw.

Good catch. The “original” wheels and lack of marker badge stunk the most to me but that panel + the scant view of the seat bottoms seals this one as an impostor.

Wrong wheels + missing badge + wrong dash surround + wrong seats =/= Viggen

Former Viggen owner here. Not the correct trim for the dash panel.

NOT stock Viggen wheels.

#10 is my #1. The wife is always gasping and flailing the moment she sees brake lights... 2 lanes over. Yet she never notices the accidents actually happening in front of her (0 for 5 so far)? *sigh*

The press release mentions NA production for 1.5 engines and coupe/sedan as well as UK production for the 5-door. Can we assume we're getting the same Type-R as Europe?

Welp, nobody will buy this thing in white now...

Looks like an Impala and an Avalon got busy.

From what I remember when driving my folks' Highlander Hybrid, the CVT in D(rive) lets you coast with the engine off or decoupled, which is great for mileage. B(rake) engages the regenerative braking and leaves the engine running (as a backup?) so you don't need to ride the brakes coming down a long hill.
