You might want to try snorkeling — even if just in a pool. I couldn’t believe how meditative it was. You’re already focusing on your breath in order to breath in and out of the snorkel, so that was effortless. Then I would just move my arms around in circles slowly, feeling the water against my skin.

I have OCD and ADHD (not self-diagnosed), and I had NEVER (until recently) been able to really do mindfulness meditation on my own, which resulted in feelings of frustration failure. Guided meditation works much better for me.

Why not just wash hands? It’s not really an either/or type of thing. Yes, washing hands is preferable. But there are a lot of situations (besides camping) where washing hands isn’t possible or practical — especially when you’re on-the-go around town, or traveling by plane. Every single time you touch ANY surface…

They got me a VariDesk ProPlus at work about 4-5 months ago. I was honestly skeptical an adjustable stand like that would feel right in both standing and sitting positions, but it's been great.
