Perhaps Mason is half-Australian? Maybe both his parents are Aussies but he grew up in the US, or vice-versa? It really doesn't matter what the reason is, because it is never explicitly stated that Mason is 100% American. If it bugs you, just make up your own backstory.

As I examine the list of cars I have a growing suspicion that this is just Gran Turismo 4's lineup with a handful of new additions.

As much as I want this movie to be awesome, Young Flynn/Clu has a definite touch of the uncanny valley. It seems Tron Legacy's mo-cap tech doesn't quite meet the bar set by Avatar, though I guess alien faces are easier to get away with.

Ugh, I hope we're given the option to loosen up the chase camera like in the first game. I just couldn't get used to GT5:P's rigidly fixed camera, it felt like it was attached to the rear of the car on an invisible boom.
