I thought the first two episodes were tremendous. This had so much potential to go poorly (cough*WheelofTime*cough) but they hit it out of the park.

Also Canadian here. Yeah, Smoke’s is a great poutine, probably the best I’ve ever had. Too bad Smokes has so few locations.

FWIW, I’m late to this show, too. I watched the first episode with my wife and she didn’t like it because it leaned in so hard on the alt-history part it assumed a huge knowledge of actual space history to really understand what was different and why it mattered. I’m a space geek, so that was fine for me, but it

Can confirm.

Apple should just buy the TV/streaming rights now and start casting.

Which is funny, because I think Ted Danson plays pretty much the same character every time I see him on TV.

Speaking as a nerd, I loved BBT. Well, up until the point Penny and Leonard got married and then the show fell off a cliff.

Counterpoint: Cruises are great and spending your retirement exploring the world on a cruise ship would be fantastic.

IS IT CAKE!?

Below Deck: Murder Yacht

Had the Chocolate Cream Cold Brew today for the first time and its... fine. Honestly, the non-gimmick regular cold brew without the special cream foams is better - add a sweetener and a splash of half-and-half and its perfect.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me, really. Before I got a Google Nest Hub, I tried really hard to use my old iPad Mini as a bedside clock/alarm/multi-media controller for the Apple TV on a stand, but Apple hasn’t really designed it for that in the same way that the Nest Hub works, so I was never happy with it.

THAT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING A SITH WOULD SAY!

I want an entire episode of Kenobi dedicated to him realizing that his declaration “Only a Sith deals in absolutes” is an absolute statement, ergo, he’s a Sith.

Checked Daredevil on Netflix in Canada and it had the removal warning for the same date.

I’m sure it’s been catalogued in some government file, yes.

Me as well. That’s why I prefer omlettes because you generally have to cook them “hard” so they stay wrapped around the filling.

I don’t put salt on things. I just don’t.

Netflix’s pivot into food TV was unexpected, but I’m digging it.

Now that Google Nest Hubs support Apple Music (in many countries) there are white noise and other similar tracks on Apple Music that can be played on Google’s devices as well. People could also try that option.
