I really like that theory. Well done.

Agree that Lorca’s reaction to the Georgiou reveal was interesting and that Lorca is originally from the Mirror Universe. I’m now thinking that the over-arching plot of season 1 is a slow burn to some kind of technobabble quantum universe shift that somehow results in the original TOS timeline and all being right with

I really liked last night’s episode because Michael’s story arc has basically reset to the beginning: she’s gone from being a mutineer against her superior to being a mutineer against her superior.

I’m enjoying the story for the most part. My issue with this season is that it’s SO OBVIOUS that the budget has been slashed. Most of the scenes are so darkly lit it’s often difficult to see what’s happening. I assume the poor lighting hides the lack of expensive sets. Sure, being on a broken down space station, it

Yup. We’ve been doing this our entire lives. I use the extra day at home to catch up on the accounting (need to pay off the credit card from the road!) and do meal prep, grocery shopping, laundry and such.

I ate breakfast at his Linq restaurant in Vegas and I quite enjoyed it. Decadent French toast for the win.

I remember flying back from a Mexican resort a couple of years ago and a guy walked on the plane with a giant take out pizza from the pizza restaurant on the security side of the airport, and I thought that was the most brilliant thing ever as he had food for the entire trip home and it was freshly made for him.

A terrific piece. Love these kinds of history journalism pieces that enlighten the current debate.

Did you read George Lucas’s original Star Wars script(s)? Because they were, by and large, terrible. (And I say that as an enormous Star Wars geek.)

Laura’s touching phone call with her son at the top of the show might as well have had a closed caption underneath saying, “She’s going home soon!” because it was kind of that obvious.

After reading the comments here....

Ben playing his idol in advance of the vote was a terrific piece of psychology. Every time I think Survivor can’t possibly find *another* weird twist in this game ....

I have never been able to figure out what “benefit” there would be from some kind of cover-up of a flat earth. Seriously... who would cover this up and why? Who benefits from everyone believing “the Earth is round” if it’s not. Is there some kind of big money in “round Earth” that we’re unaware of?

I’m going to go with a non-provable and perhaps entirely incorrect but, hey, hot take alert ... I blame the public beta program.

Good rant. :-)

I’d love to see more Sith backstory. I loved the Darth Bane books and, obviously, Disney wouldn’t just do those, but some early Sith history movies could be fun.

We made this a couple of weekends ago and it was terrific. Tastes like a giant perogy without all the hassle of actually making perogies (and my family makes EXCELLENT perogies, but they are labour intensive.)

We’ll have to wait til next week’s episode to find out if they’re right. (They aren’t.)

I feel like I’ve seen this episode before...

Last night’s show was undoubtedly the weakest of the series so far. I groaned when they turned Spock into a plot point only six episodes into the season.
