Yeah, I had no idea what Jeff meant by that either.

I’ve had 3 iPhones - 4, 5S and 7. I have probably used every iOS since... 5? (Maybe? I don’t remember.) I don’t take sides in the whole Apple/Android debate and I don’t really care who uses what and why.

Tweetbot has a great built-in feature that lets you basically do tweetstorms by grouping tweets as “topics” which automatically threads tweets that are sent under the same topic.

Yeah, that’s what I just can’t fathom in all of this “Conor has a chance” coverage that I’ve been reading this week. HE LOST TO NATE DIAZ, who is, at best, a middling UFC fighter.

Yup. I’m a long-time enormous UFC fan and I agree completely with this. It’s a travesty that Nevada sanctioned it.

Spoiler: They blew up the Han Solo movie.

That’s true. Except I balk at paying cruise ship prices to do laundry. (Also, you can totally pack Tide packets in your luggage and do some laundry in the bathroom sink.)

True. And we’ve decided to skip the formal night for that reason.

Yup. My wife and I recently did a 10-day road trip with carry-on luggage and our personal electronics/cords/plugs/attachments satchel/purse. It was a test run for doing a 10-day cruise next year without checking any bags. If you know how to pack (i.e., roll stuff in ziplock bags and suck the air out), you can actually

“We know each other! He’s a friend from work!”

Cool! As a big fan of the Google Calendar app, this means I can delete the Readdle calendar from my iPad.

OK, here’s the thing...

I totally buy that theory, particularly because there was one shot during the space battle where I cringed in my seat at what appeared to be a half-rendered space ship with a jagged border on it that made a split-second appearance on the screen.

I can’t believe how quickly Evernote went from being “Oh my goodness, this service is awesome, I use it all the time” to “Wow, they really outdid themselves in the poor business decisions department.”

Use the iOS share extension to upload the 90-minute lecture to Dropbox and then share the Dropbox link via email.

Good job. That’s tremendous advice. It’s unbelievably important to let employees vent in a safe way.

I would think you could download it to your iPhone or iPad and then AirPlay it to your TV. But nothing I’ve read so far today indicates that you’ll be able to download movies on your Apple TV from the Netflix app. Unless I’ve completely missed that bit of info.

Good to know. I’ll experiment with it in the Netflix app and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip.

Interesting. I’ll play with that and see what happens. Thanks for the info.

I saw on another site that the downloads automatically expire after 48 hours, so it’s basically the equivalent of a movie rental from iTunes in that regard. Which is good for plane trips and short road trips but won’t get me through a week of camping in the wilderness. :-)
