Because he was the very definition of a male Mary Sue.
Because he was the very definition of a male Mary Sue.
Cole Sprouse is doing a really good job: he nails the vulnerability of the character. His whole body language is withdrawn yet armored.
He's never right. Not even in the intro to his own show. He's not the fastest man on earth, and he hasn't been for quite a while.
The only reason why this show is still on my DVR is because of the crossover. So done with it. When I tried to watch a few minutes yesterday, Caitlin was trying to keep a stupid secret and Iris was pissed because Barry proposed to save her life not out of pure love although she knows he loves her but it's complicated?…
I never loved Diana more, but the MVP of the episode is Russell Hornsby, in love with himself. Second place, chill Renard, who knows exactly what his daughter is capable of. The show was never this funny.
I love it when they show people with tons of fillers and obvious plastic surgery playing down-to-earth, small-town folks.
When he first showed up, I was completely convinced I'd hate Mon-El. Yet I'm utterly charmed by him. He and Kara are adorable together!
Very true, and it is charming, but I got tired of the whimsical stupidity of adults. The banker's haplessness annoys me. His wife, on the other hand, I loved.
Yeah, I got bored with it sometime during episode 3. I wanted to love it. I love NPH. But it's just variations on the same theme, which works great for kids, but not for adults. Or maybe not for this adult.
Because they needed to check names off a list of everyone who ever showed up in the series? There's no other reason.
Hey, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is just as rich with references. If you haven't noticed them, I'd say this a pot/kettle situation.
What I've been missing: why haven't reviewers commented on the obvious reference to Brave New World with Ford and Bernard's names? I figured Bernard was a host, because I assumed he would deviate from the standard (in this case, of other employees) because of his name.
They did also mention (if I recall correctly) HuffPo, Salon and Slate pieces.
I think Lauren German is the weak link in the cast. Is it just me?
Loved the episode, but couldn't she have gotten herself some James and then go down on the Kelly Taylor "I pick myself" road? Has she even seen him??
"Yes. It's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true. The bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies and… everybody lives happily ever after." (There really is a Buffy quote for everything, isn't there?)
I'm very sorry you're so wrong, but you're entitled to your opinion.
Still not sorry.
Hmpf. I was, for a good time, until they killed his character on season 7, very much #teamChristopher. David Sutcliffe is adorable.
I'll have to watch it, if only for Galavant.
