I thought they were more just renowned as being one of the ugliest cars ever made more than being outright bad.

This probably doesn’t count because it’s bass-ackwards of what you asked, but...

If you aren’t being purposefully disingenuous, then I assume you also want an end to the billion$ in subsidies to the oil&gas industry that make ICE vehicles a cheaper option currently.

You forgot the real “genius” of this. 90%+ of these orders will be struck down in the courts. Like Birthright Citizenship needs a constitutional Amendment, new taxes (Tariffs) need Congress, etc. The only thing that will likely stick is Denali being renamed, because it was renamed last time via an executive order.

Would there be any benefit to hydrogen ICEs vs hydrogen fuel cells? I would think it’s more efficient to bleed electrons via chemical reaction than to explode the hydrogen then convert that to mechanical work.

Pretty simple to negate that bullshit

We arent lucky enough for him to croak early.  Guys gonna live to be 100 somehow.

hydrogen combustion. If we can figure that out, ICE power plants will live on.

You’ve got to give them credit for at least attempting to have a spine, unlike a lot of corporate America who are terrified of the Y’allqueda movement in this country.

100 years ago Drumpf would be trying to repeal the imaginary gasoline mandate, to ensure a future still full of horses and streets covered in horseshit.

It couldn’t happen to a more deserving white supremacist.

Or call people that are rescuing children “pedos”.

No company is completely innocent (just look at all the banks accused of fraud or robbing their own customers). But these days I will settle for the companies whose CEOs aren’t making “awkward hand gestures” during public appearances.

Because he’d rather further wage the culture war and attack trans people.

Not that General Motors is a innocent lil’ angel of a company... but I’m pretty glad we chose to get an Equinox EV instead of a Tesla. In fact- I’d say Elon just helped GM and probably anyone else who makes an EV a lot.

2nd Gear: I thought those tariffs were his BIG DAY ONE THING?! Why didn’t he do the one big thing he promised he would do?!

The lack of 30 year old gas guzzlers is what is driving up the price of used cars now?

This all feels like a dystopian nightmare. Of course if even a fraction of these tariffs go into effect it will wreck the economy. And I find it more than ironic that while liberals have been proclaimed as communists by the right, its the right that is actually behaving like communists- complete with a cult of

Completely apolitical, purely economic question — what is the point of moving auto manufacture back to the US if it results in, say, 20% higher finished product costs for consumers? The pro stance are jobs (but of course, they cant be union ones, b/c unions are the devil), but if paying US wages requires a 20% bump in

Funny auto wipers and lights are probably my favorite things about my car. I’m also neurotic with the wipers though. Constantly adjusting to avoid the squeak. Also I drive in a rural area a lot, it’s nice not to blind people with my highbeams. and I can’t forget to turn them off now.
