The plan here is to let the company go and do all that work.  In 2 years, when it goes tits up, you have a free charger and associated infrastructure.  Even if you have to remove the charger and replace it with another model, the hard part is done.

Check the article about the number of people living out of their motorhomes in Marin County. We have continually pushed people out of the way when they were inconvenient. We treat them like people the first time in ages, and we are shocked that this is a solution.

We’re on a mission from God!

Sounds like your neighbour just needs a second battery.  Charge one while you trim with the other.

One minor detail to an otherwise excellent post. The total debt burden is based off the utilization of your credit limits, not income.

The weight of any Electric Car or Pick-up Truck is nothing compared to a Semi.

Don’t forget that Brazil uses Sugar Cane, which is much easier to turn into ethanol than corn.

Thinking that these can’t be the easiest thing to repo. More than likely, they are in a garage when they aren’t being used. Unless you find a line-up of them outside the local honky-tonk, the owner is probably with the bike.

That means that they recognized that there might be a problem and it should be looked at.  My guess is that the owners of the garage lobbied to delay passage as long as possible.

If it got a couple extra dollars at auction because it looked clean, that is a couple less dollars that they would be chasing you for.

But was Clark responsible for the design, or is there an engineering company about to make a massive claim on their E&O insurance policy?

So instead of getting all antsy about this, do the correct thing.

And I’m happy that it costs that to install a stop sign.  That means that someone did a traffic study and determined that, yes another fricking stop sign is required and to not just install one because Karen doesn’t like cars on her road.

To me, the goofy lighting is like buying a ring-tone for your phone.  I’ve personally never paid for one as I can find one download that I like, but there is a market for it.

All I can see are technical snafus. My Mazda has traffic sign recognition. It works maybe 70% of the time. That is a relatively easy tech to program against something that literally has a manual describing exactly how it should look, what fonts are to be used, and how big the text needs to be. Now you need something

I find most of them granny the accelerator pedal, just hoping that they can get from 12mpg to 13mpg.  But only if they are really slow coming off the line.

Big concern in the article about the loss of range in the EV delivery vehicle due to running heat or A/C.

How would you verify that it is an e-fuel?  I thought the entire point of the e-fuel movement was to make something identical to gasoline by extracting carbon from the air and working some magic on it.

The speed limit and the design speed of the road are not necessarily the same thing.

Even better would be plug-in and have the vehicle recognized and the payment taken care of.  One less failure point in the system.
