My buddy had one with a manual. The clutch cable snapped when we were out. We jury rigged the clutch/cable connection with a set of vice grips. It took him over a week to get the new cable ordered.

GM is saying that its’ customers are expecting to pay $135/month for connected services on their vehicles.

I am reasonably certain that this will only work if the truck is actually a sphere in a vacuum.

That always cracks me up. They don’t realize that they have to be the fascists’ because they are being opposed by Antifa.

He probably even scored three touch downs in one game.

Fix Kinja.

Personally, I have one more gas powered car in my future.  I expect the rest of them will be electric.  I’m old enough that the gas car will last me to retirement.

My first car was a 87 Dodge Omni with a 5 speed and the 2.2L.  I taught myself how to drive a stick in that.  At some point, after a few hours on the highway, it wouldn’t let you downshift to 4th from 5th.  You had to dump into 3rd to get the syncro’s running correctly.  Eventually, 5th gear failed altogether.

Seriously.  All he needs to do is turn that big knob in the White House that sets gas prices.  This should be easy.

These are the same cops that say a seizure of 3 ounces of cocaine is worth millions.

Roadside safety hardware is based on something called MASH. A MASH TL-3 barrier system is designed for a 5000lb vehicle traveling at 62 mph hitting at 25 degree angle. Hardware meeting this standard is what you would typically see alongside every highway in North America. The top of the guiderail is typically set at

Way to generalize.

Find a semi. Get tight to his bumper. 1.5-2 car lengths max away. The semi can see far enough down the road that he drives a constant speed. You drive a constant speed.

The problem we have is that we keep thinking that there is one magic bullet that we need to use. Consumer vehicles as battery powered. That seems to work for 95% of use cases. A few diesel or gas powered vehicles remaining to handle the guying towing halfway across the country to his campground. Doesn’t hurt in the

It typically isn’t’ just some random split, but an engineered path to dissipate the material away from the vehicle quickly.  There can typically be plugs or blowoffs that will pop when the pressure is exceeded and the blowoff is routed to a semi-safe location.

I loved the Intrigue that I had. I bought it very used and drove it for about 4 years. We took it on a long trip and my wife who never notices these things commented on how well it rode.

When we bought our last vehicle, the wife didn’t want another minivan because she felt silly driving around in this big vehicle all by herself. It was the 7th minivan that we had owned.

Everytime I see an article about Rare Earth materials, or battery chemicals, people start complaining that we are going to be beholden to China or Russia or ... to build our batteries.

Seems like it doesn’t matter how often you ask, you stay gray.
