I spent some time at a GM plant.  The area that applied the decals had sensors over each bin that would sound an alarm if they grabbed on that didn’t match the vehicle at the station.  Apparently the biggest sin GM could do was slap a Chevy sticker on a Cadillac being built on the same line.

Disagree.  I think most people in Bentleys and RR couldn’t tell you what is under the hood.  As long as the chauffer shows up with the vehicle, they are happy.
