Remember that if you buy a Tesla, this is where your money is going. Some fascist lunatics may like that idea, but don’t delude yourself into thinking that’s not what buying a Tesla means.

I love how this reads like they’re talking about an invasive species.

It’s disappointing the BMW is sticking with its dual-use platform. The result is a compromised ICE setup and a compromised EV. I’d be interested in an EV M3, but not if it’s on a dual-use platform.

I was gonna say. Since when is $2B a “whole lot” of money to the U.S. government? Don’t we pay something like 10x that amount in fossil fuels subsidies?

China has spent about $230 billion since 2009 or about $15 billion a year.

We’ll never be able to calculate it, but I’d love to know how that $2b compares to the amount the CCP has dumped into it’s EV industry to help them dominate globally.

Yeah, “big discount” in the title had me thinking in the $40k range at most. $63+k discounted is still too much.

$70-80k... and they wonder why nobody is buying them?

If you put it in the “I need people to believe I’m out-doorsy and strong and capable” it’s a slightly bigger segment. If you lump it in with the “I need people to know I can waste $60,000 on

The best insurance company gets a C-. That’s optimistic.

Some dealers haven’t gotten the memo...or they have a local market that will still pay big bucks.

One dealer near me has a $10K ‘additional dealer profit’ on a Heritage Edition sitting on his showroom floor.

Or a mud puddle.

So if I am ever speeding in Irvine, the best way to lose the cops is to drive through a carwash?

“Are they giving us the finger because we’re cops or because we’re in a Cybertruck?”

Since when does a police department actually pay for a “community engagement” vehicle? Around me they’re all either cars seized from drug dealers or free surplus MRAPs.

Mansory taking offense and criticizing someone else’s choice in vehicle modifications unlocked a new level of unawareness above influencers, so there’s that.

I am 100% certain that I could create a 5 year plan to redirect them and rebuild the brands. However, it would cost money, and they’d rather “make money” while the company fails, so I’m certainly not getting the job.

Hmm I could probably do a lot better than their current management, do I just apply on the website?

2nd time Fisker has gone broke....   Why would anybody give this guy $$$ a 2nd time?
