I don’t think you’re going to want a flat plane high reving 4 cam engine in your truck unless you’re doing decidedly “non-truck things” with it.

To be fair....its much more attractive than the Model 3.

That steering wheel is horrible, but so is the angle of that pic. From this passenger side angle, it’s not as horrible looking as from that top view. You’ve still got a cubicle between you and the driver, but doesn’t look like it would be as bad as that first shot that we got.

This car wasn’t designed for old white men though, that’s the stereotype, But this thing will be a drivers car through and through. Like how a Miata is a driver’s car, but also a hair dressers. The $60,000 base model is going to be an absolute weapon. That cabin is designed to suit the driver. A passenger doesn’t need

And yet the ancient ass Frontier still looks a million times better than whatever crack Chevy's design team is smoking.

It’s true, the Frontier is a much better looking truck.

Tailgate - improvement

As someone who has been to actual jail for speeding, I fully admit it’s hard to square this against reckless driving or street racing. The Cannonball Run is and was illegal. This was the entire point. I do believe there’s a huge difference between “Here is what happened” and “You should go out and do this.” But this

Look at the high mount third light in the back window. He stepped on the brakes. Which is a severe no-no on these inertia dynos. Things can get violently broken in an instant doing that.

~15%. More on a vehicle with 4wd or awd

It bugs me that the car and road are slightly cockeyed in the photo.

This “side loaded brakes” thing makes literally zero sense. In order for it to flex enough to cause THAT much drag the wheel bearing and hub would have had to been broken or this would happen anytime anybody gets a little sideways because the dyno is not “forcing” it to track straight any more than a road would be

Uh, Chevy

Lets be real for a moment. While I’m sure the Silverado is a very capable truck, it suffers from Evo X syndrome in that it’s butt ugly.

This underestimates the impact of the design. There’s the union strike, and then there’s striking the truck with the ugly stick.

I can think of one reason why the Ram is outselling the Silverado. Just look at the damn Chevy and find a barf bag.

Also, because it is very ugly.

Just ran into my garage to fix this and to my bewilderment realized that I don't own a porsche.

Vinyl siding, I believe is the term you’re looking for. With oriented strand board and house wrap behind it.
