Why is the engine appearance package dumb? You do know it’s visible from outside the car, right?

Mine doesn’t burn oil and I drive it hard every weekend...knock on wood after 9k miles. I have  a 2017. It’s either a problem with the 2016s or I got lucky with a car built on a Wednesday mid-morning. 

Depends - my Voodoo engine in normal operation doesnt burn much at all and I change the oil every 5k. In my FB group its not a huge issue as well and that represents are fairly good cross section of owners in all types of activities.

Wouldn’t this make the hard top extremely heavy?

Why would someone rev their car for minutes on end, especially at night? Why bounce it off the rev limiter? Why continue revving it after there are clearly flames emanating from underneath?

What does any of this have to do with the Corvette?

I don’t get all the hate in the Jalopnik comments about this car. I think it looks great, more like the supercars it is trying to emulate, it sounds incredible, and it will be an excellent value for the level of performance. Is it a badge thing?
