Important to note: it wasn’t that the fuel tank was only 0.1 liters too large. The actual memo says that the tank was AT LEAST 96.1 liters. They stopped draining the tank once the volume was found to be greater than the 96 liters. Thus, “the complete on-board volume is likely to be greater than the measured amount.”
Their design department followed the notes of the power tool market. Make everything look like a toy that goes along with playing Transformers. *pew pew*
I’d clean house in that design department and pay some Hyundai and Audi designers whatever they wanted to be paid to make the move. It’s insane vehicles this ugly make it to production.
