Ford has every right to sue but they’ll lose. A legal case exists if they are profiting from using Ford’s brand image. They’re not. If they sold a truck with Ford’s brand or styling on it, different story.
One additional point: the alpha radiation emitted by Thorium also presents a significant hazard when internal to the body. Therefore, you definitely don’t want to inhale it. Provided the thorium is concealed below ground and is not at risk of being airborne, inhalation or ingestion risk is essentially zero.
