Can a movie still suck if I don’t watch it?

Complexity is the issue due to added cost and more weight, not reliability.

How is a great sound not up there? That’s a huge change in terms of driving experience.

This isn’t Kool-Aid it’s science. A Model S is geared so that peak torque is available at stall and is at the limit of mechanical tire grip. That same ratio allows for 155 mph that is artificially limited due to rated battery current, I suspect. What do you want from 2nd gear?

Rowing your own gears in an EV is like manually pumping your own water from the well. You may have enjoyed doing it yourself but it makes no sense anymore.

They do have gears, it’s just a single ratio. Since the stall torque of an electric motor is also peak torque, there’s never a need to shift to a lower gear. There could be an argument to put a taller gear in to enable higher speed but that would only be applicable in high speed racing applications.

There are a lot of folks commenting here that obviously don’t understand the torque/power curve of an electric motor.

Shut up the both ya’s!!

Special exhaust, two special heads, cam and ceramic headers on a sesame seed bun.

So it’s a redneck version of The Fast and the Furious?

It does use a chain.

I’ve heard that it could be the piston skirt slap against cylinder walls due to oversize clearances.

I would say Kia Soul.  Enormous amount of interior space for a small vehicle and dead reliable.

^This.  It’s to make clear it is not the Voodoo motor.

It’s great news that the markets are looking up. Unlimited growth ahead. American industries restarted.

But with a screen and an automatic like we asked for.

The name.

These read like specs of a car that’s nearly a decade old.

Maybe it’ll be the 86 with more power that everyone wants? Whats the chances it MSRPs at 40k?

Carbon wheels? Does this means the Carbon Revolution wheels from the GT350R?
