Microsleep is not actually the same as dozing off. I’ve had this happen when I worked shift work. Your brain falls asleep for several seconds while your eyes stay open. It's very unnerving.

They should - by removing the rotary from the car and dropping in a Skyactiv-X.

That would have had the NA motor. The turbo that my wife has does not have that issue.  It's actually pretty quick and a bit too quiet for my tastes.
