Sure. I’m a professional mechanical engineer and not a rally driver of any kind. Don’t take my word for it - any engineering text and like 30% of the internet will say the same thing.
I can’t recall having seen anything with a good explainer on 4WD/AWD systems. Here is a link to differentials which, at its most basic, is essentially the same as a center differential in AWD.
Haha - yes I did.
There are actually a ton of inaccuracies in the explanation about how torque, power, and rotation get split in a transfer case. He knows what he’s talking about but seems a little fuzzy on the engineering side.
I agree with you. The surface area of the filter looks to be about the same and there are about the same number of pleats at about the same height. Therefore, to get more airflow you make bigger holes.
Why do mufflers have bearings and why can the part stores never get them in?
I’d say around a 5-8K premium over the equivalent wrangler models.
Just a normal company doing normal company things. Nothing to see here, pedos.
All the time, on the hitch in my trailer. Usually gravel, topsoil or firewood. The bed I try to keep clean for things that don't fit in the car but I don't want too dirty.
This sums it up well. CP
I never really got that argument. Fine for hauling stuff you've raked out of the yard I guess but it can't haul or handle anything close to the payload of my truck.
I was of the same opinion for awhile. I like my tri-fold tonneau because it keeps the snow and salt spray out of the bed in the winter and the tree leaves out in the spring/fall. I can take it fully off in about 2 min. I got sick of shovelling out the bed and keeping it cleanish because more often than not, it’s…
Yes this is fine too. It also gives the opportunity to keep that heel and toe on point. TBH, I alternate between both of these depending on the situation.
Would only buy one if it’s fun to drive. Is it as fun to drive as it (doesn’t) look?
Louvers were a pain in the ass because I’d get my mullet caught in them like every day.
The demographic that don’t care about cars and have an Iron Man fetish will buy it. And both of them will love it.
I doubt it. Stunt driving is 50 km/h or greater over the speed limit. Immediate vehicle impound, 7 day license suspension, and up to $10k fine.
