Yes, you were lucky. It happened then, it happened in the past. I wouldn’t have *dreamed* of making myself a target by reporting in the late 80's early 90's-it was totally clear to me what would happen to me if I tried. I couldn’t even get support from family in those days

I read it differently, not that they were trying to clear her name from being a girl who had sex, but to clear her name from being a liar.

Can you imagine this being a justification for any other crime?

I’m glad you discussed this movie as I have so many thoughts and I don’t know anyone else who has seen it. The film is infuriating. here are just a couple...

Why would you think she had anything at all to do with the murder? There is zero evidence of it except exactly the sort of non-evidence (stretching, laughing, etc) you note as prejudicial and unrelated.

“But don’t underestimate the need for attention. Especially young girls. There’s a lot of pressure on young girls in our society to be pretty, to be liked, to be the popular one. It’s not fair, but it is how our society works.”

The doc actually addresses most of that evidence.

You’re only thinking that because she’s so closely associated with the case. Your mind is tricking you. There is zero physical evidence linking her to the murder.

Everything you just said and asked is nonsense. Watch the documentary. Or Google it. Or learn about DNA testing. The answers are readily available.

You have your facts wrong and you should watch the documentary before commenting.

So basically you’re pontificating about something you don’t know anything about. Let me guess: you’re a guy?

Facts. People just don’t like them if they don’t fit their pre-conceived narravite. Her DNA was not on the knife.

“a black man from the Ivory Coast”

There exists no evidence that even begins to suggest she’s guilty. Every bit of evidence says she was a victim.

"The Italian police has gone to extraordinary lengths to assassinate her character, including falsely telling her that she has AIDS to get a list of her past sexual partners and then releasing the list to the media to protray her as a slut."

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS

Americans think she's innocent because they dd not spend 5 years reading about the salacious stories of Knox's Satanic adventures on the tabloid press. The Italian police has gone to extraordinary lengths to assassinate her character, including falsely telling her that she has AIDS to get a list of her past sexual

I've always found the accusation that Knox willfully framed Patrick Lumumba very bizarre. If Knox went into that interrogation knowing she was guilty and needed to blame someone else, Lumumba is the last person she would blame. She was scheduled to work the evening Meredith Kercher was murdered. Lumumba texted her

I'm British and I think she's probably innocent. I've yet to hear a convincing argument or scenario to explain her guilt, just a lot of expostulation as to why Americans supposedly all want her to be innocent. I've also heard a lot of Americans proclaiming that she's obviously guilty, so I really don't think

I'd also add that while Meredith's murder is still tragic and horrific, it's not entirely accurate to say that her family hasn't seen justice. Rudy Guede is currently in prison for the murder, and the evidence against him is FAR more convincing than the evidence against Amanda Knox ever was. The fact that Guede's

Mr. Kercher~~~ 1/3 of the reason your daughter's murder became about Amanda instead of poor Meredith is because your family is STILL publicly convinced, with every ounce of evidence suggesting otherwise, that she's the one who killed your daughter. You want someone who is PROBABLY innocent incarcerated. (And yes, you
