It’s cynical, but I feel like if Nintendo did make the Pokémon games (or at least have a bigger hand in them), we wouldn’t be seeing the controversy we are right now with Sword and Shield.

It would have taken just as much time and effort to grab him and toss him sideways to the floor, the fact that she lifted him over her head and tossed him over the back of her chair shows a disregard for his wellbeing. Not to mention the vodka incident. Alcohol is EXTREMELY toxic to cats.

Toxic dose for ethanol poisoning is extremely low in cats.  A few mL’s could make the cat very sick.  Plus tossing a cat without looking is extremely dangerous.  I have seen cats who were not lucky and didn’t land on their feet. Not every cat has the best reflexes.

I mean, I argued it was because of the writers/directors as well for making a bland-as-hell film. Though Brie didn’t help her case, given that Lashana Lynch acted circles around her and was much more enjoyable to watch than Brie. 

Carol being snarky wasn’t the problem. It’s that she was nothing BUT snarky. Her emotional scenes fall flat and she acts pretty much the same at the end of the film as she does in the beginning.
