This is PRECISELY the reason android fragmentation is a problem. Even the text messaging bug hasn't been patched and that was from years ago. This is a real issue folks.

@EiZON: Use Gmail and you'll start having problems with hotmail. Your statement is equivalent to "Hey i don't see any problems with dial-up."

@macron1: You know, I'm not sure... good point.

@Harpsichord: He did make the first one that didn't suck. Pushed the keyboard back to make room for wrist rests w/ the PowerBook 100 (full disclosure: designed in part by Sony)

@Steve Ambruzs: LOL @ tiny screen with useless widget at 20 seconds in. Common people, this isn't useful!

@Bizdady: Also, I can see by your previous comments that your a google BJ machine. Nice try Sergey. We know where you lurk!

@driggity: Remove the border and consolidate them to make a dashboard that is useful then. This is what makes me think the facebook phone has promise. What useful info can you get out of a 30x50 pixel window that can barely display your friends name.

@jmcm: You know what i meant :-)

@MattWPBS: Yeah, I've owned almost every flagship phone under the sun. (I like to try everything) Widgets do have their place and work for things like an audio app but for a tablet to waste that extra space with a border around an already minuscule (compared to desktop) viewing space is retarded.

@Bizdady: I've owned a G1 and Nexus One, they both were "OK". The G1 was great but the touchscreen on the Nexus one was a JOKE for a $529 phone. (got 3 different ones from HTC and they all didn't work correctly)

Is it just me or does this UI look awful? I know I'm going to get voted down for saying it, but if this is the knife they are bringing to the tablet gunfight I don't think they will win this round.

@Arkar Kyaw Win: The Nexus One... ahh where do I start... such a great phone with amazing potential that was plagued with a terrible touch screen. I had three which all were a joke when compared to an iphone touch screen. Didn't work half the time. When that is your primary input method, it needs to be awesome.

More carriers please!

@seanism: I haven't either but I'll review it for you since I have a blackberry and already know what it will be like.

@Cochese 2.0: You must be joking... HP Envys look nice but when you feel one in person it's a pile of junk. (although it is the closest thing to a MBP)

That was freakin' awesome.

@AreWeThereYeti: They already use 1.8" drives and presumably they would remove the case of them (making them even smaller)

This poll says it all doesn't it... The iPhone and Evo are BY FAR the best thing out there.

Wrong, nobody cares about cdma except for the verizon subscriber base, which, in case you forgot, is just ONE of many large carriers in the US. Two other very large carriers use GSM.

Maybe this is why he always wears a turtle neck during presentations.
