A few years ago, after getting frustrated with a non-working 3.5mm dongle for my Pixel 2, I wrote a 70s-style love song called “Bring Back the Headphone Jack” as a PSA for phone manufacturers... glad to see it’s still relevant and that I’m not the only one who thinks it’s a key feature!

Although I agree that the Retina MBP is far overdue for a complete overhaul and probably not worth the price at this point, the biggest difference between the newest revision uses a PCIe SSD which in my testing is 3-4x faster than the older Retina models. It makes a much bigger difference than a new processor…
