I’m using a G27 wheel and pedals. The pedals are modified with a Leo Bodnar extension to be a little stiffer and have a little more definition, which is easy to do even if you’re not handy (I’m definitely not and I did it).
As someone who participates in iRacing leagues, no one uses the stick shift to select gears. Everyone on my team (of 7) uses the shifter to adjust one of two things: traction control or brake bias. That’s it.
Fun fact: my wife and I have been together 10+ years and have no idea what each other’s politics are. Never felt the need to discuss it.
