Cooper making a new Dougie makes sense with him telling Sonny Jim that “Dougie” will be back, then changing it to “I will be back.” But I am right with you in hoping Agent Dale Cooper retires to raise his son with his wife in Las Vegas, perhaps working as a security guard for the Silver Mustang and enjoying the

About Richard Horne’s demise and stuff people are frustrated with about The Return. It’s a balance issue and the disposal of Richard coupled with Evil Coop’s remark it’s a clear symptom of that. It feels cheap for a show that is unapologetically pretentious.

We have seen multiple trials in the series, some even with witnesses and/or chances for trial by combat. It would be very sensible for Baelish to ask for a trial, especially of the Starks who (at least in the past) have upheld their honor over even their own lives.

In my comment, my point is that if they were good writers, they could have had the siblings talk and still keep up the suspense of whether or not Sansa was going after sis or Baelish. That’s the whole point of what I wrote.

well thats the thing, he thought his plans were coming together, he didnt have a plan for being found out on such a stage. he wanted to speak in private because he knew he had an advantage there, he wanted to leave and take his guards with him so he could plan his defense, he ran through his options and he found none

I took Sansa’s admission that she doesn’t tend to catch on quickly and call back to his “little game” of imagining the worst to mean that his plot was actually working just fine right up until then.

I’m still on the fence with how I feel about the Dougie storyline. On the one hand it makes a little bit more sense now seeing as Cooper seems to have come through his experience in the Black Lodge with no ill effects (something else that surprised me slightly). He obviously is pretty well tapped in to this whole

I think it clicks when he pushes Sansa to realize Arya would be Lady of Winterfell. Sansa realizes Arya would NEVER want that.

If they were truly good writers, they would have given us a scene that showed how Sansa approached her siblings, not really being sure of them.

Littlefinger should have kept his cool and instead of trying to answer the charges directly, said, “My lady, I cannot prepare a defense under these circumstances. If I am to be charged with crimes, I must be granted a fair trial, must I not?” and then he’d at least have bought himself some time. Openly admitting that

I like so many other people were just praying that the stark women had some plan up; I mean Arya is a master sneak assassin... how could she have let Littlefinger get the best of her?

I laughed during that scene because that plot line (as written this season) did not earn this ending at all. Good surprises and twists are when a character does something you don’t expect but in hindsight makes sense for the presented character psychology. Bad surprises are when things happen because the writers and

Sorry for the off topic question but are we ever going to be able to sort comments by oldest, newest, and most liked or is that gone forever.

...on second thought...I forgot about Coop asking Mike to make another Doppleganger. Maybe it won’t be the real Coop returning to Janey-E and Sonny Jim after all. I did think it was a little odd that he would shirk his FBI duties for domestic bliss.

I thought Cooper’s promise to return to his new family really justified the length of his stint as Dougie... it established his love for them and their love for him. If he’d only been Dougie for a few episodes the apparently happily-ever-after ending awaiting Coop would not have made any sense. That being said, I was

I don’t want it to end. Can we somehow stop this from ever ending? This episode made me feel every emotion and left me so charged up and excited that I am incapable of sleep. It’s like a drug (in a good way). I feel like Cooper. This show has made my heart so full.

:-) ALL the happys. (Maybe except for Hutch and Chantal, may they snack in peace)

Audrey’s Dance. Audrey’s Dance. Audrey’s Dance.

When the music started to swell as Cooper said he was the FBI, I was pretty much delirious with happiness.
