whoops. I meant physical mass/matter.

Under classical mechanics, momentum must be conserved. In other words, to move the spaceship in one direction, it must throw some mass in the opposite direction. This is why rockets carry fuel - they move themselves by violently throwing hot gas away from themselves, generating thrust.

I can appreciate what I have in life, but I can't bring myself to do what this article is suggesting because I just feel that I'm full of myself if I do it.

Of course, I'm just saying that using magnets as the primary tool is probably not the best.

Educational AND fun

Well you actually do learn from that game... It's the most educational thing i've played.

Again, not an aerospace engineer, but I doubt that magnets could do much, since magnetism operates on a very small scale (centimeters). With relative velocities on the orders of tens, hundreds, and thousands of m/s, and relative distances greater than centimeters, the best a magnet could do is deflect the trajectory

Came here to say the same thing, because it's still Word. But free.

Not sure if troll or not, but I'm gonna pretend it's serious. I'm no expert (I'm a biomedical engineer, not aerospace), but I know of a few problems from playing KSP...

Also, you'll be able to finish the conversation on a happier/better note, which makes everyone leave the conversation feeling better.

My take is to take a phrase (preferably relatively long, say 10 words), and hash it, and then use the resulting hash as my password. The hash looks completely random (hold down the shift key for capitals and punctuation), and you can just hash the phrase again in case you forgot the password.

MMS has started working for me in the past 6 months. I can't send MMS though the GV number, but receiving is no problem (including forwarding to my actual phone).

All Apple computers use a mini-displayport output. Also Alienwares laptops. My m15x has a VGA and a DP out.

It makes me wonder whether FB actually got IRB approval for this "study."

CFCs are not necessarily destructive. Advanced civiliasations might use them for terraforming less-than-optimal planets.
