The fine prints say that it does not apply to free Amazon Student/Mom memberships, so it should work for the discounted, but not free accounts (like mine).
Came here to say the same thing. The notification center, to me, goes against the WP philosophy of getting back to life.
Ha. I posted that to r/wtf and milked a good amount of karma from it.
Really? that's interesting. I ordered mine on thanksgiving and they shipped on black Friday. though it's the 128 gig model and it was through Microsoft student.
I got a Surface Pro 2 and it does 7, 6 (freaking Wacom digitizer!), 4 (I can get my entire Steam library), 3, 2, and 1 out of the box!
No. It's moved on to a more demanding, niche market, as opposed to a general, common-man consumer item.
Yuh-huh. Just like how Giz heralded the death of the desktop and the mouse.
Thank you, China, for televising launches with heavy media coverage. It keeps the glamour and mystique and draw to space exploration that we have lost since NASA funding went downhill (like since the late 80s). I love space, and beautiful shots of launches like this is what reminds me that I don't think I should be a…
Why? It's a pretty solid design. Though more boosters wouldn't've hurt.
alienware support is still mostly separate from dell's
Apple boasts a 17.4% failure rate compared Dell's 18.3%. Not that much better. I also think this bag looks much better with a workstation than a MacBook, since the workstation keeps in line with the spaceflight, NASA, and engineering feel. If this were a minimalistic, fashion-oriented bag, a MacBook would be…
I'm getting a surface pro 2. However, I will point out that the Surface Pro has 1024 levels of pressure and no tilt sensitivity compared to the Cintiq Companion's 2048 levels and ~40 degrees. Not that much of a difference for the regular user, but makes a good deal of difference (esp tilt) when you're drawing.
That's why I bought an Alienware.
That is a Dell Precision mobile workstation in the bag. I have yet to have a Dell workstation fail on me yet.
Last time I checked, we didn't fly to space on things powered by Macs.
That why you don't start off with MechJeb.

YeaaaaaaaaaaaNO. Good luck with calculus, physics, and chemistry. Not to mention reading/writing beyond the fifth grade level.
One of the things I advocate for is to let, oh, you know, actual scientists determine research/science/exploration funding (cough, cough NASA) and what goes into the science curriculum in schools.
