Doesn't surprise me at all, I laugh my ass off when people say the performance of these two cars are similar. The MP4 has over 100whp more than the 458 and weighs less, the outcome is obvious.

99% of STI's have an aftermarket exhaust, your point is invalid.

No, a FWD car can never be a true sports car. The car's driving dynamic is what makes it a sports car, not its speed. You will never be able to get the driving dynamic of an AWD or RWD car in a FWD car, it's simple physics. This is why the GT86 is a sports car and the Golf R isn't.

That's a very nicely styled and well rounded car. I like.

@ #1 YES!!! I was hoping that I'd see that one on there. It's 100% true in every way possible, but it's so worth it though.

DD: Porsche 918. Mainly for the simple reason that it is a targa top and I freaking love the open air. The fact that it's AWD will also be a major benefit because of the weather where I live. It's good looking, makes the right sound (from the interior I like the sound better than the Carrera GT), has a brilliant

Have you actually asked people that track GT3's? I know two people with Porsches that track them sometimes and they are manual elitists.

Excusing the fact that you don't know what a time attack car is; shouldn't their dedicated track car, the GT3 RS, be the one that comes with the PDK then?

Not an Outback but a WRX wagon. You can't get an Impreza Outback with a turbo.

I fucking love how well the WRX is doing. I was ecstatic that Hammond chose it, and then how he turned it into a camper was perfect. But the icing on the cake was when Jezza and May got stuck over and over again and Hammond had to keep pulling them out. Brilliant. Subaru FTW.

I have driven a GT-R on the road at fast and normal speeds. I can tell you that it is boring. I have autocrossed a DCT Focus and a manual Focus, the manual was way more fun. Sure driving on an actual track is different, but not in the respect on how you push and drive the car.

Because they weren't driving the car, the car was driving for them. I'd have to ask, have you ever actually driven a car with a manual transmission? It is MUCH more rewarding and MUCH more fun than driving a car without one. They may get a big hard on about their laptimes and superiorty to other drivers, but I doubt

My argument has always been that if you aren't actually racing you shouldn't be trying so damn hard to get good laptimes, you should just be trying to have as much fun as possible. Do you really need that extra 0.2 seconds off your laptime? It honestly just makes me think people are trying to impress eachother instead

I agree with you, but the "couple" MPG loss is only shown through EPA estimates. In the real world you could be losing as much as 10mpg compared to a NA motor depending on your driving and the terrain.

No fucking shit, I've been saying this from the beginning. Once you get into any amount of boost in a gas turbo motor (which becomes extremely easy with the tiny turbos they put on these examples) fuel economy plunges. EVERYONE who has owned a turbo car knows this. In the EPA tests the drivers can be light footed

High performance? What the fuck? I sure hope you are joking.

Way to not contest my point and prove me right. lol.

And you probably have never even driven a convertible sports car...let alone a sports car. NEXT.

The FR-S is underpowered huh? Great, another dumbass who hasn't even driven one. Shut the fuck up and give the car a chance before you make such a stupid statement asshole.
