I’m so sorry and I hope you’re doing better. I have a strong hermit gene in me myself but being isolated is tough. Is there anyone you can reach out to? Even online? There’s always people here too. Don’t forget the bit about the water fountain ok?

I guarantee your friends are still there even if there is distance. There IS a water fountain and it’s your friends. If you are ready to reach out they’ll listen. I hope you’re ok.
It is very clarifying. Sending virtual hugs.
Managed to defy my low battery:
Can anyone who knows the ins and outs explain why he’s no longer at Nerdist and its parent company? Wishful thinking to think they got wise and let him go?
Ha! I don’t think they did but that’s a good idea!
I think so? There are two parts which I think are each 2.5hrs - I saw it in one day so it was a whole day at the theatre. Each part has a standard interval but there was an hour or two between Part 1 and 2. You can of course see them separately but I was travelling to London so made most sense to see it in one go. My…
I completely get that and that’s totally fair how you feel. I’m fairly certain I’d hate it based on the story alone. I don’t want to say this out loud but I did find the end of the second half a bit disappointing but it was overall such a magical experience that I’m happy to look past any flaws. I’m totally blind to…
I saw it last year - you’re going to love it. It’s an amazing experience. Don’t read the play before you see it either.
I love Harry Potter but I’m not canonical about it so I can’t address all your points but certainly regarding the polyjuice potion - it’s not a book, it’s a play so I think personally it’s ok to take some liberties and this is one of them as they only have a certain amount of time and the play is already 5 hours long.
Sex and the City is the worst!
They also don’t actually win anything. They do it for the love and the nerd glory. I love the purity of Countdown.
What was the response? Is it above? Am I that stupid and missed it? I’m in a post Referendum haze to be honest!
Kim’s tirade is boring to me and I’m over the Kardashians a long time but that last tweet in the series is some nice shade.
I still find the Citizens’ Assembly to be a thing of democratic beauty.
I still find it bananas that emigrants can’t vote in Referendums. Changes to the constitution are so long lasting and who’s to say a lot of emigrants don’t return home to settle therefore still being affected by the rules. But you can vote in general elections right? The effects of which might be a couple years?…
Someone on Twitter pointed out that as a constituency they voted no (difference of less than 2%) but actually as a county voted Yes. Some of Donegal is in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency and voted yes. So techhhhhhhnically, Donegal was a Yes. Hey you can use statistics to tell any story you want and that’s mine!
The complete puzzle :)
There was no one at Dublin Castle who was representing anything other than Yes. It was purposely the location of the announcement to mimic the Marriage Referendum celebrations.
They didn’t though. Maybe not as an organisation but priests stood in front of congregations every Sunday. Lots of reports of homilies calling for no.
