So, I really only see two issues here: clutter and poor cable management. For the former, I’d recommend pitching or giving away anything you don’t need/want to keep, followed by finding another place to store anything that doesn’t see immediate, constant use. For the latter, all you need are some zip ties and/or

I’d much rather they add a more reasonable checkpoint system. If I die in a boss fight, I’d like to NOT have to take a 10-minute walk back to the same fight.

Hey, at least it’s not as bad as Atlantis III: Beyond Atlantis II: The New World, which yes, is a real game.

Does anyone know if the localization is fully legit, or are they using an old fan translation? Also, why the hell is it “Trials” of Mana, and not “Secret of Mana 2" like we’ve been calling it for  ages?

Good news! DQ8 is available on 3DS. Don’t know ‘bout the rest, though.

I think it’s estimated that something like 92% of all films from the silent era are completely gone.

This is what Konami should have done with the Silent Hill 2&3 remaster. Instead, we got a release based on a buggy Beta build with missing features and effects. The fog on the PS3 version still hasn’t been fixed.

Too true. The steam version of FF8 is literally just the old PC port running on modern systems/hardware.

They had to rebuild Final Fantasy X and X-2 as well, and I suspect that’s what they’re doing with the FF8 remaster.

While having the original source code and assets would indeed be the best way to port these old games to new platforms, why not just rip the ROMs and ISOs and port them using emulators? We’re already seeing big names do this via the Virtual Console and the mini classic systems, and there are plenty of good emulators
