It’s not surprising you would think that. After all, you shit the bed pretty much every time you post on here!

I find the whole notion of “punching up/down” to be a rather useless concept in satire. Satire should make fun of the ridiculous, and there’s no monopoly on that among the powerful. Trying too hard to “punch up” you end up with well meaning but painfully unfunny stuff like Adam McKay’s recent movies like Vice and

So...we’ll be happy when the characters are killed off?

What is it about music specifically that makes you veer toward completely out of touch as you age quicker than other forms of entertainment? I’ve heard 2 of these songs, while I’ve seen most of the Top 25 movies and more than half of the Top 25 TV Shows. What happened to me?!

Not really. If she didn’t support him, why should he support her?

I blame the Nero generation for coddling the Genghis Khan generation myself.

Classic “us vs. them” mentality. Every generation has their bad actors regardless of age. The fact that you want to paint one generation as the worst tells me you are part of the problem. You need to go look into a mirror and face the truth.

sorry the comments are filled with myopic minds, hateful, fame obsessed seeking validation in the highest number of stars for the best quip, regardless if it makes any sense or not.
i’m sorry for your loss as well, and that everyone here feels they can judge your parents without ever knowing them.

It’s not relevant. At all.

I saw '97 as the last great year. It was the year Electronica was going to break or something like that saw you heard a lot of the Chemical Brothers and Prodigy on the radio and OK Computer came out and it felt like the last year where interesting things were still heard on the radio. But '97 was also the year Limp

97 to me
Albums from then that I still have/listen to(in order of how much I actually still listen to them):
