Criticizing a film for being boring is fine but I think it’s unreasonable to criticize movie for lacking some element that’s not a part of the filmmaker’s style. I wouldn’t watch a Michael Bay movie and say “I was hoping there would be some Tarantinoesque dialogue somewhere in there.”
